Deputy Head Children’s House

Humma has a Montessori Early Years Diploma from the Kent and Sussex Montessori Centre. As the Children’s House Deputy Head, her role is to support the Headteacher with the day to day running of the School through ensuring the welfare of pupils in Children’s House, liaising with parents and providing managerial and administrative support. She is the main presenter to all pupils in Children’s House and is responsible for all the teaching and learning in the Early Years, Reception and Year One. Humma is a key teacher, she is involved in developing the curriculum and line managing and mentoring staff. Humma also holds a BA[Hons] in Professional Language Studies: Arabic and Linguistics and has many years of experience teaching Tajweed to children. She has the additional responsibility of being the Equality and Diversity Officer.
